Orion and Junxure: Saving Advisors from Wasted Time and Costly Errors

Consider this: an automatic flow of data between your CRM and your portfolio accounting tools, eliminating the need to manually update client information in multiple places, and dramatically reducing the potential for costly data errors.

We think so, too. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a brand new enhancement to our integration with Junxure, a web-based CRM solution offering centralized client and financial information, workflow efficiency tools, comprehensive reporting, and document management features.

According to an Advisor Technology study conducted by InvestmentNews in 2019, 53% of advisors consider their CRM the central hub of their tech stack. By enhancing their integration with Orion, Junxure provides even more value to our advisors.

And that’s where these new integrations originated: from advisors themselves, who gave feedback to Junxure leading up to Orion’s FUSE 2018 conference about possible new features. Junxure users wanted to access Orion’s portfolio accounting data without leaving the Junxure platform.

They also wanted contact changes made in Junxure to update automatically in Orion, saving time and reducing the potential for error.

Orion and Junxure teamed up to deliver. Key integration points now include:

Data: Keep your data updated with an automatic nightly position refresh from Orion into Junxure, as well as the ability to link contact records so changes saved in Junxure push through to the Orion system.

Reporting: Access Orion reports within Junxure from a household record.

Single Sign-On: Log into Orion Connect directly from Junxure with the click of a button.

By linking a contact record to an Orion ID, changes to the contact record are automatically pushed each night from Junxure to the Orion system, creating a single point of entry for contact information updates.

To link accounts:

  1. Launch the import match feature, Orion Household Match
  2. This feature will look for matches based first on SSN, then by email if SSN matches are not found
  3. Matches that appear will give you the option to accept and link contact records
  4. Once the records are linked, updates made in Junxure will flow to the Orion system nightly
